PUBLISHING - SUNDAY TIMES WINE CLUB
The Sunday Times Wine Club is the world’s biggest mail order drinks business. Our association with Direct Wines goes back 13 years. Since then, the design of Wine Times has continued to keep abreast of contemporary design sensibilities.
The brief: To commission, edit, design and publish a magazine for 150,000 Club Members twice per annum.
The approach: As predominantly a mail-order business, The Sunday Times Wine Club is highly skilled in producing marketing materials that really sell. Wine Times is a benefit to being a Member of the Wine Club and is, in essence, a warm communication that takes readers on a journey of guided discovery in the world of wine.
The results: Wine Times doesn’t sell wine. However, the editorial environment is one that promotes attendance of Club tastings, dinners, the annual Vintage Festival, tours of wine regions and even a Mediterranean Cruise. Many of these events are available only through Wine Times and they sell out regularly.
